2. Principle: no cookies, no tracking
This website uses no cookies and no web analytics or marketing services, and it does not embed any third-party content (no maps, videos, fonts or social media plug-ins). We do not collect any data for evaluation purposes when you merely visit the site.
3. Hosting and server log files
When the website is accessed, technically necessary data are processed by the hosting provider in server log files (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and operating system details). This serves the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and the data are deleted after a short time.
4. Making contact and initiating a mandate
If you contact us by e-mail or telephone, we process your details in order to handle your enquiry and to initiate a mandate (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). The contact form on this website does not send any data: it merely prepares an e-mail in your own e-mail programme, which you check and send yourself. Attached files leave your device only when you send your e-mail.
Your communications are subject to lawyer–client confidentiality. Enquiries that do not lead to a mandate are deleted once dealt with. Where we are engaged, we retain the files for the statutory periods (§ 50 BRAO, retention periods under tax and commercial law).
5. External links
This website contains links to press reports, videos (e.g. YouTube, SWR, Anadolu Ajansı), social media profiles (Instagram, Facebook, XING), Google business profiles and legal texts. These are simple links. No data are transmitted to the providers when you visit this page. Only when you click a link does the respective website open; the data protection provisions of its operator apply there.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). To exercise these rights, please use the contact details given above. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Baden-Württemberg this is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit), Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart. For enquiries relating to Switzerland, the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection applies; the competent authority is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC / EDÖB).
7. Changes
We amend this policy when the legal position or the website changes. The current version applies in each case.
